SHILIN

Тhose peculiar forms, due to millenniums of corrosion in karst terrains, are known as the Stone forest in Shilin, located in the Uyuni province in China.

This is a set of huge stones in dark colours, which look like they have come out of the soil, just like thorns, resembling an enormous stone forest. According to experts, their possible age might be over 170 million years.
